10 Laws on an Alien Planet
- No spitting (Spit turns toxic outside of the host’s body)
- No jumping (Gravity here is a bitch)
- No drinking after sunset (Body cannot break down proteins without the sun’s UV rays)
- No food before sunrise (Stomach acid cannot synthesise in the dark; what you swallow sits and starts to rot)
- Stay indoors when ill (Atmosphere helps pathogens become more potent and contagious)
- Do not eat any uncooked food (Fresh food grown on the planet’s soil is not safe for consumption)
- No crying near the reservoirs (Salt water is currency here, they will come to collect it)
- No whistling in the tunnels (They will whistle back)
- Do not make eye contact with them (They remember faces longer than they remember hunger)
- No sleeping past the second moonrise (Unclaimed dreams will get repossessed)
