At the end (II)
At the end No more words were spoken, They fell silent to the frozen ground, Shimmering red and gold Before shrinking into black crumpled shapes And fading, like the faces that uttered them, Shapeless and forgotten.
At the end, The land was laid bare, Littered with bright souvenirs Piled so high they reached the stars Where death resides and souls wander And the Sea of Love roars darkly Every wave crashing down like washed away memories.
