Love & Longing — Immersive & Present-Tense

I followed your eyes

I followed your eyes and it was instant, a moment that would have passed, just a forgotten smile. But here are the mirrors, your tongue of smoke, the silver rings, a solid shape of starry mornings. Stories spoken softly, with tears, of previous outlines and uncertain horizons. The sunrise is our sunset and somehow I’m out of words, even though this path is familiar and I know the lyrics to this song. I can see the turning point, I’m driving slowly, I want to take in the scenery, I don’t want the song to end. Here we are, a little dream, of tangled limbs and tangled lifelines.
